1st changes
After discovering 2 tension bars in the messed up trunk, I felt like I got a deal. 1st bar was top one for the shock towers. That got installed the same day. The second one was for under the engine,
I put that on the next day when I jacked the front of the car up. You could feel the car getting tighter already. Next I needed a new trunk for my mx-5. So I found one on e-bay, coincidentally the one I found was maroon, the color of the stripes. The day it arrived I taped off the sripes and painted the rest of the trunk white. It mached great.

It all started
I'm Peter and I'm originally from Poland so my grammar and spelling is not the best but I will try.
In the late 90s I was in the Navy with the greatest US NAVY Squadron VF-103 Jolly Rogers.
We were on the Top Gun training and I was a technician, so we were either very busy or very bored. I was into cars already and I had a 66 Mustang Fastback and I modified the crap out of it.
So one day when I was bored, I picked up an import car magazine for a change and there was an article about this car.
I read it and I thought it was so cool that a guy built this sweet ride for something much less than I was putting into my Stang. Well years went by and after the mustang I got a 1990 Infiniti M30, it was a fun car with a V6 rear and wheel drive but it was an automatic and there was no aftermarket stuff for it but I also modified the crap out of it.
My motto is that you can improve every original. Well that car got totaled after someone pulled out in front of me, without yielding the right of way. Well I needed a car quick but insurance $$$ did not come yet so I remember the MX-5. In the next week I got one off the Craig's list. Faded white with red stripes. It had a banged up trunk and the rear piece between the lights was cracked to pieces. It was running rich and the plastic window in the back was taped with clear tape, that lasted about 5 days in AZ sun before the crack reopened. I paid $1,600.00, I think I over paid, but it had OZ rims and some parts in the trunk. On the way home I started loving the ride. And the rest you will read about soon.
